The purpose of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to poor families at the time of marriage, to encourage girls' education, and prevent child marriage.
Benefits
Under the scheme, an amount of ₹5,000/- will be given at the time of marriage of the girl child.

Eligibility
1. The applicant should be a girl who is 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
1. The applicant should be a native of Bihar.
1. The applicant's family should be Below Poverty Line (BPL) card holders.
1. The annual income of the applicant's family should not exceed ₹60,000/-.
1. The applicant should be marrying a boy who is 21 years of age or older.
