The "Disability Relief" scheme was launched by the Telangana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, LET&F (Labour) Dept. Telangana aimed at providing financial support to registered building & other construction workers who suffer from total or partial permanent disabilities.

Relief for Total Permanent Disability:
- A relief amount of ₹5,00,000/-.
Relief for Partial Permanent Disability:
- A relief amount of up to ₹4,00,000/-.
Eligibility
1. The worker should be a registered building or construction worker with the Telangana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
1. The disablement must have occurred due to an accident at the worksite.
1. Such disablement may be either temporary or permanent.
Documents
- Passport-size Photograph.
- Aadhaar Card.
- Registration Card under the BOCW Act (Attested copy).
- Renewal Challan Copy.
- Attested Copy of Disability Certificate (issued by the Competent Authority).
- FIR Copy (if the case is registered with the police).
- Advance stamped receipt.
- 1st page of Bank Passbook (Attested copy).
How to apply
Step-1: The interested applicant visits the official website and clicks on "Downloads" at the top of menu options.
Step-2: Now click on the download button corresponding to the scheme name.
Step-3: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step-4: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the concerned Assistant Labour Officer.
Step-5: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).
